George Muller really bucked the system. He told very few people of his needs, but he took everything to God. His support for multiple ministries that he lead, especially the orphanages and Scripture Knowledge Institute, he relied solely on God for the finances. It was nice though, that he was in a denomination that allowed him to preach at multiple churches, so people would know of his ministries. Anyway, God did answer in big ways - a true man of faith.
Excellent autobiography, though I caution impressionable folks from reading and wanting to emulate biographies when God seems to interact with individuals individually. Nonetheless, wonderful reminders of God's grace, mercy, and steadfast love.
