Kind of a cute book with a simple story of a masculine manager with a huge chin who, somewhat secretly, is also a fantastic cook. The comic includes lots of real recipes to try as well, one in each chapter, so each episodic story builds up to our hero cooking something, often as a means to help a coworker or family member. Overall it's kind of dumb, but kind of entertaining. Read in Japanese,

alasan kenapa kamu harus baca ini:

1. gambar makanannya enak. bikin ikutan lapar.
2. ceritanya apik, khas sehari-hari
3. tidak terlalu feminis(?) membuktikan bahwa derajat laki-laki dalam rumah tangga itu tidak lebih tinggi atau rendah dari perempuan
4. makanan enak adalah solusi dari setiap masalah (yha)
5. AKU MAU CARI DADDY YANG KAYAK GINI DIMANA YHAAAAA, MAU JUGA DOONG

It was a fun book and an interesting story.

There are some recipes in it that look quite good and I was almost tempted to try them.

In the end though, the art is a bit too clunky for me.

I love food manga and this is a lovely series about a man who finds joy in cooking and caring for his kid and wife (who also works). Lovely recipes and healthy masculinity!
