Ada Aharoni is a bilingual Israeli writer who writes in Hebrew and English. She was awarded a M.Phil degree in English Literature at the University of London and a Ph.D. on Saul Bellow at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She lectures at the Technion in Haifa, and has been a guest lecturer at several American and European Universities. She has published a number of books and was elected President of the XIII World Congress of Poets in 1992, and President of the "International Writers and Friends of Literature" in 1994. Her novels and collections of poetry have been translated into several languages.
