Good general information about Joseph Conrad but chapter headings are interesting though not particularly enlightening: Beyond the Life of Ships, the First Outcasts, etc. The Outcasts chapter has a brief mention of Lord Jim, but the (obviously inadequate) index does not reference that title at all. And since it is mostly Lord Jim which is of current interest to me, this book is not very helpful.
