When this book was published 20+ years ago did people think that the illustrations are as horrifying as I do in 2023?!? Like this lady looks evil and her assistant looks like a little creep. The whole series is hilarious to me because of these terrifying illustrations but I'm not sure that was the goal.

Vicki Cobb is a scientist who, like Bill Nye the Science Guy, loves to do science projects with kids and encourages them to try some in this book. The problem: she needs the help of a cartoon robot named Igor to aid in teaching kids. This sooooo does NOT compute. The benefit: it's still a fun kids book for young scientists.
