The books from this series are simply sumptuous. Lush, beautiful photographs that make you want to walk into each and every single one of the houses. Interesting snippets on the history of a particular house or the history of a particular piece of architecture. The style in historical context. One of those books you never tire of leafing through, that never fails to give you ideas for places to use and which always makes you want to visit. Fabulous.
