This is an intro into the myths and Legends of the Hindu and a few Buddhist sprinkled. The only reason that I knocked it down a star was that there is very little quoted from the source material Ramayana with no reason given. The myths are simply written, but the pictures are beautiful. If you want a taste of this culture, then I say start here. It is a good jumping off point.

A pathetic apology for a book. Most confusing, confounding and incomprehensible reselling of myths of India. Unless you know the stories you will be absolutely at a loss to understand who or what the author is talking about!
