Able Team #47

Shadow Warriors

Rate this book
Behind the walls of a remote military installation in New Mexico, a select group of shadow warriors - covertly backed by Pentagon heavies - is secretly planning the most daring coup in Americaís history. Fed up with crime, corruption and urban unrest, the men have decided to take matters into their own hands: they will overthrow the U.S. government.

The President needs a few good men - warriors tough - or crazy - enough to fight a squad of the meanest, toughest fanatics who ever squeezed off a 9 mm round. It takes only one phone call. Able Team is ready for action.

A fairly solid volume in the series written by Ken Rose. In this one a cabal of generals in the Pentagon have put together a force and plan for a military coup. Able Team is clued in and they do what they do. Plenty of action and an engaging storyline helps put this in the top half of the series for sure. In my mind the last two pages hurt it a bit, just seems like an awkward ending and unnecessary. Though with those two pages gone it was done well and had a nice flow.

Highly recommended for fans of mens adventure, especially if you are already a fan of this series.

A spin off series from his Executioner books. This series follows several secondary characters that band together. Recommended
