Short, Steamy Romance

This was a short read. It took me less than 12 hours to finish, but it kept me hooked the entire time! It was both steamy and wholesome somehow, and the characters were very well fleshed out. My only complaint is that I lost sleep and didn't get anything done, because I had to find out what happened next!

Having lived in and around New Orleans, I find this book delightful as well as nostalgic. Sarah Storme's description and characterization as well as her ability to accurately portray place and time-period, are what makes her an authentic writer. I'm looking forward to the Bayou Marshall sequels.
