This is a reference text which doesn't make much sense to use as a reference text. Some of the examples are decent, but this is a subject that is hard to write for. You don't really know how to design and analyze experiment unless you are, you know, actively designing and analyzing experiments. Unfortunately, they made the decision to write this book as if you will be reading from it in a vacuum. Pity.
