This collection of Hemingway's high school writings reveals that the great writer was a pretty average kid of his era. Derivative humor, bad poetry, newspaper articles... just what you'd expect of a teen in the Jazz Age. The man had a certain genius about him later on, but here he was just another kid in Oak Park, Illinois.
