Friends and enemies--sometimes it's hard to tell the two apart. Especially when some people seem to be both. In her bestselling book Mean Girls , Hayley DiMarco counseled teens about how to handle mean girls at school or church who were making their lives miserable. But what's a girl to do when her own friends are the ones doing those mean and hurtful things--being her BFF one day but betraying her the next? Frenemies helps girls figure it out. In this new book from big-sister mentor Hayley DiMarco, teens will learn why friends act the way they do and how they should react when the mean people in their lives are the people they love and trust the most.
Hayley DiMarco is the best-selling author of over 30 books, including God Girl, Mean Girls, and Die Young. She and her husband, Michael, run Hungry Planet, a company focused on producing books that combine hard-hitting biblical truth with cutting-edge design in Nashville, Tennessee.
I won this book in GoodReads First Reads. Wow I'm winning a lot lately... Odds this time: 5 copies available, 571 people requesting (will calculate later) -- that makes it about 0.9%.
It's been over a month and I haven't received it.
I still have not received it after half a year, so I can't review it.
(I've contacted the organizer of the giveaway, and apparently there was trouble with the address, since I moved during that timeframe... The postal office should have forwarded to my new address, but that didn't happen! Moving this off my "to-read" shelf now.)
