The map is handy, but the best thing about this kit is the awesome Narrator's Screen. It's freaking beautiful, with a panoramic view of the Wall, solid construction and just a wonderful layout of tables on the interior. The weakest part of this kit is probably the introductory adventure inside. I'm used to running mods that set specific scenes, plot hooks and TNs, so the utter vagueness of the story line (i.e. it gives you options at every turn what you could do with the story, but leaves the appropriate skill checks/TNs/plotting to the Narrator) is absolutely maddening. I can make up a story of a wedding and intrigue on my own if I wanted: I buy a mod so I don't have to do that thinking/calculating of probabilities/creation of stat blocks. Otherwise, a great-looking kit, though I'd definitely recommend getting the all the books that go with the series.
