The Odyssey its set up in Greece years after the Trojan War in the VIII century a. c, the genre is epic, the author is Homer, the main theme is the Trojan War and the main characters are, Odysseus, Penelope, Circe, Calypso, Telemachus, Zeus.
In my opinion I really liked this book, I read it last year at the school. I am very enthusiastic reading this book because I am very interested in the past of the history of Greece. And this is about that, a story based on a plot that happened in Greece many years ago.
The story is about Odysseus or Ulysses, the king of Ithaca, has failed to return home and many believe he is dead. They took him prisoner to the island of the goddess Calipso. In fact, he is a prisoner of love. In addition, Poseidon, the god of the sea, is not happy with Ulysses and is not willing to let him return home. In Ithaca, Ulysses' wife, Penelope is pursued continuously by suitor who want to marry her, now that her husband is away. The goddess Athena, who has always been a friend of Ulysses, guides her son, Telemachus, to go in search of information about his father.
In conclusion I really recommend this book because this book catches you, also inform yourself about Greek mythology

El clásico que abrió la puerta a los demás clásicos. Las hazañas de Odiseo reflejan con calco el trasegar humano en su paso por el mundo terrenal.

Digan lo que quieran, que pedazo de literatura es La Odisea, obra de arte, chulada. Encima está versión te lo pone de forma ordenada porque Homero estaba bien loquito con su narrativa.

21: LA ODISEA
este libro me hubiera gustado mas si no lo hubiera leido para el colegio la verdad. estuvo entretenido en algunas partes pero en otras se hacia demasiado tedioso. daban demasiadas vueltas y repetian siempre lo mismo y entiendo la época pero era mil quinientas vveces lo mismo. no la leeria otra vez pero lo hice y lo tengo que hacer asi que posiblemente los proximos 3 libros sean la odisea.
CONCLUSION: 2⭐
