I'm putting the date read on here as 1989 even though I've read the book several times since then. I'm pretty sure that was when we first started reading the stories in the collection (and when the book came into our house).
I absolutely adore this book. I read it all the time when I was little and it was really nice to be able to go back and reread all the stories I remember reading when I was little (or having my sister read to me when I was too little). It has everything from Goldilocks and the 3 Bears to the classics like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. But of all the fairy tales in this collection, my two favorites have always been The Twelve Dancing Princesses and The Tinder Box. Those are the two I would always have to read no matter what.
