I obviously have not read the ENTIRE book, but from all that I have read, it is clear that this is an indispensable volume for any Bible student's library. Clearly there are times when a Bible student will disagree with some of the things Scroggie says. But overall, his organizational research in this work is a monumental contribution to theology.

I recommend that everyone who has a Bible have a copy of this book for reference.

A book for reference rather than the casual reader. Scroggie accomplishes his purpose of tracing redemptive history, but not much more.

I love this book - I don't know if I will ever finish reading it and re-reading it! Great overview of the Bible, if you would like to have a Bible School Education all on your own study - read this book. It was recommended to me by Paul D. Mooney!
