Mother Nature's Prophets

Rate this book
Isaiah Berkie, while hiking in the Beaver Point National Forest, encounters a woman claiming to be Mother Nature, who informs him that nature is badly out of balance and asks him to go to the Beaver Point Conformational Church and pray for the rest of God’s Creation. Though an introverted loner, Isaiah complies with the request, and--despite the escalating interference of Beaver Point kingpin Howard Pittman and his womanizing, SUV-loving, henchman Tom Polliwog--Isaiah, his over-sized friend Hector, and an odd assortment of six other social misfits--who band together to form the Church of Mother Nature--have a remarkable impact on the citizens of Beaver Point, successfully demonstrating that when all is bared, humans are but a part of God’s Creation and must care for the rest of it out of familial obligation and love.
