As much as I liked the content of the writings, it was very slow reading for me, therefore, the rating of three stars.
The author developed a brain stem glioma as a child and guides us through his life as a child, an adult, and as a teacher. Glioma is a tumor that can be reduced, but truly never goes away. Some of its effects are: Speech difficulties, weakness in many body parts, headaches, nausea. This book tells how he dealt with it. When he finally found God, life changed. He developed critical relationships with church members, and also with God.
"I did not want to restrict myself from doing things. Now that I've realized after doing some of these things that I control my own limitations. My limitations do not control me. If I do not want to be limited, I will not be. Those who risk no loss also take no gain. Be willing to be vulnerable!"
This book offers so may ways to live your life in a positive way, especially through your faith.
