With ancestors from the larger area near Coe Ridge a great aunt who contributed information to the author, this was especially interesting for me to read. An extremely well researched and documented work on the history of the Upper Cumberland River. It is both informative and engaging. I enjoyed it very much, learned a great deal, and plan to purchase a copy.
