I've always been a fan of Christo and so I was incredibly excited when he wrapped the Reichstag in 1995. I went to Berlin twice to see it, and it was absolutely fantastic. Apart from all the other meanings the wrapping of the Reichstag had, it was just overwhelmingly surreal to see this huge, wrapped "thing" in the middle of Berlin.

So yes, I bought tons of merchandise. I feel that it's only fair, since the Christos finance their art themselves, and it's not like to have to pay an admission fee to see it.

This particular book tells the story of the project, so it is interesting to everyone who is interested in their art, especially for thise of you who saw the Wrapped Reichstag.
