This book had a lot of information in it!! We read 2 pages a day (4 and 8 year olds) for our story time. We have close to 50 chickens, so they were really interested in all there is to know. This is not your run of the mill junior non fiction book with 48 pages and 3rd grade reading level. I would put this one closer to 6th grade. Lots of words on a page! LOL But great photos and great information.
