Well that escalated quickly!!!😳😳 Chyyyyyy I knew Prodigy’s lifestyle would become too much for Vi! I mean it’s too much for me and I’m just reading about it! 😩😩
I really enjoyed the way the story continued to develop in book 2. Now that Violet has clearly made her place known in Prodigy’s life, those around him are feeling threatened and are taking matters into their own hands. What they didn’t expect tho was for little miss Rosebury to have those handsssss!! Violet said play with ya mama not with me!
I love that Miss Candice didn’t write Violet as a weak b*tch! The situation she’s in is intense enough so I’m glad she has the confidence and self worth necessary to walk away when the situation calls for such!
While I do feel bad for Sam, broski should’ve kept that lip zipped! I understood his motive and at the end of the day he’s a real one but this was a situation where he should’ve bowed out gracefully!
Let’s see how the series concludes because I am locked in!

Surviving Attachment
Okay so let me first say I don't think there was a need for this second book, it could have easily been added to the first.
Violet and Prodigy have made it official and she is now apart of his *arrangement." I loved how it opened up with jabs 🥊👊🏾 Baby Aspen was not ready at all 🤭 She thought she had really gotten over, but small town Violet was built to survive. The peace Prodigy thought he has created, was completely lost this entire book. The pettiness, jealousy, and fight for attention was loud.
I don't mind books with polygamy, but I do not like when all parties are not on the same page. The women wanted Prodigy, but ultimately despite his honesty and laying the framework of the arrangement, they didn't want to share him. I liked Prodigy, but his upbringing and fear of love didn't allow him to truly be the alpha in a polygamous relationship. He absolutely knew that ish wasn't working out and he needed to make a change. It was giving selfish to me. It was also not lost on me that despite Violet being almost a decade younger than him there were so many moments that felt like her maturity level matched his...Sure he has more life experience but in some ways they were mentally and traumatically the same.
I'm eager to see how this comes together.

Damnnnnnn.....
I know that this is not it for Violet n Prodigy. I know that he won't be able to handle not having her around n hopefully end up making her his one n only. I don't know how Violet is going to bounce back from this but I really hope that it doesn't break her too much cuz I know it's gonna be hard for her to stay away from him. I really like Violet n Prodigy together.... They just fit together for me. Sam asked for that beat down try a front like they were on a date n cuz Violet verified that it wasn't he wanted to poke the bear. So the bear poked his ass back. Both of them were wrong Prodigy wrong cuz he's selfish n Sam wrong cuz he instigated it. Had he minded his business he would have been good! I mad as hell thst I finished the book already smh. Great job mama! This was fire right here! Can't wait to read part 3! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Whew baby Violet got Prodigy’s ass soooooo gone and I love it. I loved the way she beat Aspen’s ahh too because she deserved it for pulling a stunt like that. Yara gets on my nerves and I’m just hoping it ends with her and Aspen being kicked to the curb where they deserve to be. Blue needs to worry about her infatuation with Trouble and let Violet live her life on her terms I get she’s a concerned older sister but if given the chance she’ll go there with Trouble too and I actually wish she would, I can’t stand Yvette either. Great work queen 👏🏾 I literally was up til 2am reading because I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this series‼️

I don’t know where to even start. Bleu is a hypocrite that can’t make up her mind. Sam deserved what happened but not to the extent that it did. He knew what he was doing before he even opened his mouth. A lot of Violets problems come from lack of communication. Be it with Prodigy or Sam. Yara needs her behind handed to her too! I see part 3 going one of three ways. I can’t wait to see which way she goes! Fantastic job! Just wish it was longer.

Got me strung out
I'm all for whatever works for you works for you...the problem is...this doesn't work for Violet nor Calvetti. It's their defense mechanism to have some sort of control. Trouble as well if we want to get technical. Pain will make you put up so many walls and turn your world around trying to prevent it...which causes more pain...I NEED MORE where is my next fix??

Miss Candice did it again. Prodigy needs to get it together he know he’s in love with violet but too scared to admit it. He has two other women and violet can’t have no friends, but violet shouldn’t agreed with the situation in the first place. Amazing
Omg this series is so amazing! I cannot wait until the next part. I was quickly caught up in the emotions. On the outside, I cannot imagine Vi allowing herself being wrapped up into the obvious poly mess. But when you see them interact there is no doubt that they cannot stay away from each other. Great read!

Review
I love a good alternative lifestyle story. This particular story was heavy on details that added nothing or very little so much so that i found myself skimming several pages at a time. I could never get invested in any of the characters or their storylines. This was a miss for me unfortunately.

I wonder if Prodigy will stop being so afraid and stubborn just make Violet his one and only woman. He ANF Trouble will have to forget about what happened in their pasts and move forward. If falling in love with Violet makes him happy, that should be his number one priority. Definitely ready to see what happens in part three.

Oh this gets better
So part 2 goes a bit deeper into the relationship between Violet and Prodigy to which Violet tries to walk away. As much as both of them are damaged and unsure of what love is, they both struggle learn what it is and how to express it. Waiting to see what part 3 brings.

Intense!!!
Both Prodigy and Violet need therapy. Their love is fast becoming toxic which is not a good thing. Miss Candice had an opportunity to write a truly beautiful love story with some amazing characters. However, she chose to choke all of the goodness and innocence out of their relationship with s as ll of their love unresolved issues. Too bad, such a shame.

Great read
The excellent storyline continues with wonderful character development. The pull between Prodigy and violent is intoxicating. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Excited to read what happens in book 3. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This is a great read! Two broken souls scared of what might be! Yes, Prodigy is selfish, but you agreed to it already knowing what it was! She should have gotten a clear understanding of the dynamics even tho it wouldn’t have mattered 🤣! I can’t wait for part 3.

I really do love Violet and Prodigy , they both have a lot of personal issues to work on as individuals before they can progress as a couple. With that being said, part 2 was kind of unnecessary for me personally but i understand the purpose of it. I look forward to how it all ends.
