Janet Williamson’s journey is not a path of despair, nor are the pages strewn with hopeless devastation. Theirs wasn’t a journey that exempted us from suffering; on the contrary, God and the support of friends taught them how to thrive in the midst of it. Hospitalization and cancer were such a big part of their lives that they had to triumph over these with God’s help to enjoy full lives.

There are mysteries about God and suffering that are not easily explained, and even when we don’t understand, trusting in Him is still the answer. Williamson is so thankful to God for the gift of her children, Tanya and Eric, who loved God and walked with Him all their days and taught her to do the same.
