This was a re-read as I have two married children now and three teenagers so needed to refresh my thought process again. I really appreciate Dennis Gunderson's measured and reasonable approach to this subject and his concept of principles rather than rules. I am not one to fully embrace everything someone else says and adopt it as my own, but I do agree with most of his principles. I appreciate that it is a short, quick read (though it could be even shorter imo). I am reminded of my responsibilities in this area to guide and train my children rather than surrendering them to the current culture's lack of ideals and lackadaisical practices--even if I'm tired and don't always know what is best!
