I really liked this book; it is a very quick read with a lot of the same background as The Secret. I would recommend it to anyone to give as a gift, as well all need to follow its principles. This book is an excellent volume to have in your library.

I think Mr. Bjorn presents an interesting concept within the book.

Whether it actually proves beneficient is, I believe, up to the individual.

I really wanted to like this book. It was a goodreads win and I want to support a new author. It's a quick read (I read it in about an hour - don't be fooled by 120 pages; there's a lot of white space and blank pages) and carries a positive message. But grammatical errors on the first few pages (and no less than 8 throughout the book) along with concepts of "if you really, really want to win the lottery, you will; you just have to want it sincerely enough and for a long time" just didn't jive with me.

Without bagging the book totally, I did appreciate the positive message (we all need to be reminded to say no less and yes more, especially moms). And the Moral code that he preaches, Honesty, Respect and Forgiveness, is one that we all can live by. Finally, the brief description of the struggles of the Dalai Lama and the idea of karma, reaping what we sow, are interesting, yet too briefly covered.

The Secret to Life is an easy to read and understand self help book. This book shows you how to improve your life by following the "Universal Truths" : Law of Attraction, Moral Code and Principles of Karma. The way to make your life better is by being more positive and by believing in yourself. This book gives you examples of other people who had success and happiness in thier lives and teaches you how to do the same. I found the suggestions very helpful, and more importantly; they all made perfect sense! If you are looking for a way to bring yourself some inner peace and happiness, success, or you want to find ways to bring goodness into your life, read this book. Practice the concepts and see for yourself how much your life will improve.

The author e-mailed me the book when I didn't win on First Reads. I read the whole thing on my screen in 45 minutes. Excellent! It is all about thinking positively so that you attract the positive, keeping "no" out of your thoughts and learning how to forgive people. All of our actions create reactions.

I really wanted to like this book as it was a goodreads win but it seems like common sense things that we tend to forget and this was a refresher in how some of the concepts if applied consistently could change one’s life..
