A stirring collection of Gene Wright's photographs of the city he lived. From bays to bridges, buildings to parks, Wright captured this singular city like no other.
I recently bought a signed Wright panoramic of the Golden Gate - that bridge led me here. Always a pleasure to meet someone who loves bridges as much as me.

I really like Gene Wright's images of San Francisco in the 50s through the 90s. He had a studio on Upper Grant for many years. I remember as youth staring at his work in the shop window and wondering if anyone bought his pics besides tourists, Now I know someone did: me.
