I can't say I liked this book. In fact, I found it terrible. In a business setting, the rules put forward might have merit. Children, who are the target audience of this title, should not be in a business setting. For a home setting, this book fails to prepare children for the dangers of telemarketers, bill collectors, and relatives no one likes. It also insists that we ask permission to have a caller hold or to ask who is calling. I'm not known for enjoying phone calls, but even I realize that if I call someone, I should be prepared to wait if needed or provide my name. This insistence on overt but empty politeness chafes at me, and is not something I feel should be instilled in the younger generation.
Also the second paragraph on page 12 is logically inconsistent.
