The author talks about what you can and can't expect from alternative healthcare, how it's different from Western medicine, and how you can get the most from it. In the last chapter, which deals with spiritual health, she talks about how to strengthen your aura. She cautions against consuming pork as it "lowers the spiritual vibrations of your aura." This certainly gave me pause as I happen to love bacon and spareribs and pulled pork. Hmm, maybe I wish I hadn't read this book.
