So many books like this have been written about living off the land, especially in the seventies and eighties. This one was enjoyable but predictable. Everything that could go wrong eventually did. In the end, the land was the only place the Bledsoes could imagine living.
Got much more engrossed by this one than I had ever expected. There were many more connections with my own history than I had ever expected, and I had a hard time putting it down. After some of recent encounters, it was a real treat.
