It challenging to write a novel that covers as much calendar time as this one does and as many life events. The real heartaches, challenges, and eventual growth responses are well developed and believable and lend themselves to good book club or any other kind of group discussion. There were considerable sorrowful events in the book, but the characters worked their way through to eventual happier endings.

Lovely

A lovely sweet story that delights and makes one cry at times. The main characters struggle but emerge changed and better. The author provided perfect ending.

Sweet story of love and grieving. The imagery of God taking us as broken pottery and making us even better was beautiful.

This was a sweet story of love, loss, friendship, and life. I found many profound lines I highlighted for further reference. This book was overall a story of how to grow and learn about how to cope with life’s adversities but still find hope and love.
