My granddaughter brought over all seven Gibblewort books today as she and her Mum cleaned out their attic and she could not throw these out as they were part of our lives. She lived in Queensland where all seven books probably take place, so we had lots of fun both reading the books and making up our own stories with our own Koala (a hand puppet who was part of our family, still is for four more of my grandchildren). Gibblewort is a mean old goblin who came to Australia from Ireland and is about as grumpy as can be, so he made our time together lots of fun. Thanks to my granddaughter who is now a high school graduate for bringing these wonderful gems back to me for her younger cousins to share with.
