I have to admit that it was the illustration on the front of this book - of an angry little boy ready to stamp on anything in his path - that made me pick it up.

As it mentions in the title, this book is full of poems about the emotion anger. There are poems about what it feels like to be angry, poems about the impact of anger on other, poems about being on the receiving end of anger and even how to deal with it.

With fun illustrations on every page, this book is suitable for reception or KS1 children to help them understand and discuss this emotion, and show them how it can be kept under control
