4.25 for the overall series! So much happened and I think there was some good character development in the book! I read it in one day, so I will say it was a page turner.

I completely fell for Kash by the 9% into part 2 and even tho I was anti Cherice, she really came through for Charli at the end of it all.

My random thoughts:
Nina is A SNAKE! This book could’ve been 5 stars if she was handled properly *if you know what I mean*

Also what happened to Meesh? I mean I’m glad she never appeared cus I couldn’t take any more drama

Finally, PAPA😭😭😭 I cried like I knew the man personally.

kash & Charli

Kash basically grew up very privileged and spoiled . When he wanted something he would not take no for an answer. When he set his eyes on Charli there was a connection he could not describe and he knew he would do anything to get her and that is what he did.

Charli upbringing was not as fortunate having a mother who basically chose her habits over her was disgusting. But she was saved and brought to Nana and Papa and was achieved a lot.

The journey these two embark on is not conventional at all, it’s full of drama, betrayal and grief. This is a new to me author and I enjoyed both books. I wish the snake that risen was dealt with different and there was another side character that didn’t show back up but I wanted to see something happen with that. I was proud of Charli mom at the end and Papa took me all the way out 😭😭. But after reading this series I will be reading more from this author

Oooooh weeeeeeee

The scandal, the manipulation, the betrayal, the toxicity....ooooh weeee! I could NOT put this book down until I was done. It had such a chokehold on me. Kash loved him some Charli but his way of manifesting his love was toxicity on steroids. I loved how Charli stood her ground and demanded healthy boundaries. Just wished she saw how shady Nina was. She deserved her place in hell. OMG. Papa stole my heart and whew...no spoilers here. This series was my first read by this author. It's time I dive into her catalog more because this was a good start. While the editing errors were concerning I still gave this book 5 stars because the story had me fiercely engaged. I needed this because I was getting fatigued by some of the books I read almost having a readers block. Thank goodness for Mr. Kashmere!

Didn't get better

So glad it's over! Charli still worked my nerves, so stupid. Kash was still a very spoiled, arrogant immature narcissist. The whole Nina situation was beyond absurd because there is no way he didn't know that wasn't Charli and once again, Charli just being and looking stupid with her confused redundant desperate @$$ smh.

caught up in the rapture

“When we met, I always knew
I would feel the magic for you
On my mind constantly
In my arms is where you should be
I love you here by me, baby
You let my love fly free
I want you in my life for all time
I'm caught up in the rapture of love
Nothing else can compare
When I feel the magic of you
Aaahhhhhhh (Pa, pa, pa, pa)
We stand side by side
Till the storms of life pass us by
Light my life, warm my heart
Say tonight will be just the start
I love you here by me, baby
You let my love fly free
I want you im my life for all time
I'm caught up in the rapture of love
Nothing else can compare
When I feel the magic of you
The feeling's always new
Caught up in the rapture of you”

I had to post the lyrics to Caught Up in the Rapture by Anita Baker because the song is them - their first encounter, their situationship, their love - the whole toxic relationship. Their relationship weathered the storms some that could make their boat capsize. Friendships tested, family ties tested, relationship tested, violation and more. Trust broken and put back together so many times. Never a dull moment.

The writing in this book once again had me in a chokehold. I was clutching my pearls, grinding my teeth, cussing, and smiling all while reading this book. Awesome read!

Caught up in the rapture!

I been waiting for this one! This book was too good. Kashmere met the right one with Charlotte. Love knocked both of them off their square. Like Charli mentioned, Kash knew he fell for her but didn’t know how to express it and went about it all the wrong way. Rather than trusting Charli and knowing he was deserving of her love and loyalty, he was insanely manipulative. BUT when they got it right, they got it right. Unfortunately, not everyone could be happy for them & Nina was such a despicable character! She was miserable and delusional until the very end. Parker was a real one and I’m happy that Cherice and Charles were able to join Charli’s life when she needed it the most. I loved Kash’s family too. The love was evident, but both Kash and Charli had some kinks to work out. I really wanted Charli to discover that Kash was still taking care of Meesha, because it no way in Hell would that ever be okay!! Overall this was a super good series and i highly recommend!

Five Star Read

This book was definitely worth the wait. I knew Nina was a hating bi£ch, when I would have never imagined she'd do the trifling shyt that she'd done. Then she had the nerve to show up at the repast without an inch of remorse. She deserved that beat down and it would have still been on sight on site every time. I'm glad Parker was a good friend and her and Jay make a good couple. This rollercoaster of a relationship that Kash and Charli went through had me in my feelings probably more than Charli was. I'm glad they pulled it together though. I was so devastated for Papa tho. Felt like I was losing my own grandfather. Genesis Carter did an amazing job with this book and I can't wait to see what else she has in store for her readers.💖💖

GOOD READ

Whew what a rollercoaster of emotions this story put me through. Charli and Kashmere's relationship may seem toxic at times but you also see the love between them as well. I was happy that Kasmere finally admitted his feelings for Charli and showed emotion when he realized his behavior towards Charli wasn't normal. These two have been through some things while getting to know each other but with the support their families, there was hope for them to finally get it right. And they did with two new blessings to complete their union. Highly recommend reading this series.

Rollercoaster

This series took you on a rollercoaster. Everytime you think it’s going to work out there’s a heart dropping moment. I understood Charli’s trust issues. A lot of people betrayed her through out her life starting with her mom. My heart broke for her.

Kash is a spoiled brat and he was selfish. He did not give me boss vibes, because Nina would have never made as far as she did. The Meesha situation was also wierd, he continued to pay her bills. They didn’t have kids together so that was a no go. Des should have been automatically dealt with. I’m glad they were able to work it out.

Overall great series.

4.5 Stars

So the first book was more plot & this book is a good mix between plot & character development. In the first book I was screaming for charli to leave Kash but he turned a new leaf & learned how to communicate his thoughts & feelings like a sane adult (minus the trifling situation that happened about half way through). Charli did work my nerves in this book some but she was alright. She definitely learned how to have a backbone with Kash & let him know that he messed up & she warned him what would happen & she stuck to her word for a good minute. This was a really good ending & now I’m wondering if Parker & Jayson have their own book?

just read it

If you have someone around you that makes jealous and slick comments about you constantly you should cut them off. Charli should have cut Nina off. I think people think because they have known a person for a long time it’s hard to see the negative in them. Then she slept with Charli husband. If people warning to cut somebody off it’s probably because they see something that you don’t. I’m glad the truth came out about Nina plotting on Kashmere. When Charli Papa died I cried! That was so sad. I’m just glad Charli and Kashmere worked it out. I enjoyed part one and two. New author to me and I can’t wait to read more.

HEAR YE!

First let me say I Love Kash he definitely gives off BDE with a mix of toxic and I loved it! Second I honestly couldn’t stand Charli or Charlotte whatever you want to call her if the intentions was for her to be stupid, annoying, childish and just aggravating was what the author was going for she definitely did a good job. I only gave 4 ⭐️ was because of the horrible grammar in book one

This was a great series and I really enjoyed reading about Kash & Charli! Something traumatic turned into a great love story. However I'm not pleased with how Nina is still somewhat around. Like how is Parker still her friend...she's a rotten individual and she should've been cut out that circle altogether. O just know there's another story popping up claiming she pregnant....she stole sperm😡🤣 Anyway...Nina should've gotten Got but great series

Great series

I couldn't wait to read this book after the first book's cliffhanger. I lost some sleep reading to see what was going to happen. Kash was just as crazy, if not crazier. Charli was stubborn as hell, but Kash deserved it. They both drove me crazy. I knew something was up with backstabbing Nina. She was a trash friend.
I'm glad they were able to find their happily ever after, after all that drama.

Kash and Charli

I enjoyed this conclusion to rapture. The twist and turns towards the end were unexpected and kept me entertained. Cash was possessive and agressive but shed a little so that Charlie could have some freedom. Charlie was extremely trusting and took her too long to notice the snakes in the grass. Eventually She was able to take control and get her power back. Enjoyed

Kash and Charli took me on a roller coaster ride. I even ended up teary eyed at the end. I don’t want trauma love, but I loved watching them go from how they were in part 1 to present (but it was hard remembering most of this occurred over a 6 month span)

Nina…. I knew I didn’t like her in the last book, but the things she did in this one were … disgusting.

This series had lots of drama, and I mean a lot. But it made for a great read. I don’t think I’ll ever forget these two.

What a rollercoaster ride.

When I tell you I been waiting for part 2 of this book. The first book was amazing, it hard not to fall in love with Kashmere. This relationship was so toxic and loving at the same time if that makes sense. This was a really good read, I love both books u will not be disappointed.

Read it, read it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book two is so good. I thought I enjoyed the first book, but oh my goodness, this one had me in my feelings. I was literally all over the place. Kashmere and Charlotte (Charli) have been through some things. The betrayal was brutal. I would highly suggest this book it's definitely worth the read. It was an absolute pleasure reading this book 🥰.

It was an amazing ending for this couple. The bumps in the road they had to overcome hurt my heart. Reading the growth of both Charli and Kash was everything. Even with their growth, Kash still managed to mess up. Thank God for his mama coming through and helping him clean up one of his messes. The betrayal in this book had me wanting to jump in and lay hands and feet. The situation with Papa had me all in my feelings. I enjoyed this book just as much as book one. The only thing that I would change is that one character deserved to be handled worse than she was.

Rapture of Love

I read this book awhile back and can't believe I didn't rate it. Kash was off his rocker a little. Charli wad pushing with her lil petty ask. Oh and that Nina needed a good ole fashion ask whooping. I can't stand a grimy so called friend. Great series!
