I had to read this book for my term paper. But all in all, I found it a logically structured, easy to understand document that produces good ideas. Furthermore, I am of course in favour of the fact that the document was written to improve the dialogue between Christian religious communities.

Notes:
Creedal declarations stand
Lady Chapels for Mary
Need Mary to make Jesus fully human - incarnation key to understanding Mary
CofE removed feast day of assumption
Mary is model for whole church
Mary always linked with Christ
Ever-virgin
Mary present with God in Christ so offers hope to all
Christ took away Mary's original sin?
Catholics see Mary as having ongoing ministry of grace to Christians
Praying to Mary - asking her to intercede with all saints (Rev 8.3-4) presents problem. Jesus needs to be higher, but can see saints as praying like friends on earth would pray.
All must fit to scripture
Praise of God is highest priority
