McKell's poems are beautiful, raw, and heartfelt. So many of them made me cry. I can't wait to return to them again and again. Anyone who is grieving or has grieved should read this gorgeous collection.

This was a beautiful book of poetry about finding your way back to yourself. McKell wrote it as a journey of her grief through cancer but it turned into so much more and the pure joy this brought me is indescribable. Her words soothed my own soul and everyone should read this!

A beautiful, earnest book about grief, life, transformation, throwing off societal pressures and personal inhibitions and learning to appreciate and live in the moment. In large part, the density of meaning and sincerity of feeling in the poems make up for what they may lack in the other poetic elements. I related to so many of the poems in this book and to the sentiments expressed in it. Lovely. Def recommend it.
