George Reynolds was a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and polygamist, eventually becoming the named party to the U.S. Supreme Court Case Reynolds v. United States, 98 U.S. 145 (1878), which held that religious duty was not a suitable defense to a criminal indictment.
It was a short, easy read that taught me a lot. I loved it! It was very iteresting to see where the lost 10 tribes could have been lost and how different nations have some of the Jewish concepts woven into theit myths and government.
