THE BIG BOOK OF MALAYSIAN HORROR STORIES

Rate this book
THE BIG BOOK OF MALAYSIAN HORROR STORIES takes us from terrors that are mythological and historical to contemporary and technological. The biggest Fixi Novo anthology yet is set in various states in Malaysia, but the most common states are Darul Distress and Negeri Scary. These brand-new stories are complemented by Chin Yew's equally spooky illustrations.

Various

Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.

There are 30 stories. For me, the stories are pretty tame. Not very horrifying but captivating.

In order to enjoy the book fully, ones would have to have some knowledge of bahasa Malaysia and local myths/believes as there are glossary for BM words nor footnotes on the local customs.

Overall it was a quick read for me.
