🔥🔥
This is a book about healing and new beginnings. And it’s absolutely stunning. King is a mf savage. Leek dirt just came back to bite him in the azz. Gutta had to go go he was a liability. Kennedy and Khadijah both need therapy after everything they been through. Kennedy mom made my azz ache. Khadijah mom was a leeching witch and I couldn't stand her snake azz. Quanny was too damn fast. I really didn't agree with Kennedy having a relationship with Pistol cousin, me, myself would never did it but sometimes in life you can't help who you love. I really enjoyed King and Kennedy’s journey to love 🥰! Kennedy was navigating grief and experiencing a horrible tragedy and King came along and snatched hee heart when she least expected. The ending tho I can't wait on Part 3!

Pistol and King family need to get their lives! I get it. They mad at the relationship formed but what really could they do?! Ken and King were consenting adults! They should have been glad it was him rather than some other rand she may have come across. Khadijah just can't catch a break! The hood life just keeps following her! I know darn well they een take that baby! The streets bout to be draped in black over this! Great read

What Else Can Happen?
Shontaiye my lord this cliffhanger baby listen. Kennedy just can't have any peace, all for loving who her heart loves. Khadijah has great loyalty, and is always looking out for those she loves.
King does things for good reasons but others won't think about it in that way.
Ouanny is going through things that she shouldn't have to. As a child who is hurting she is acting up. Khadijah is in a world of hurt because of her loyalty.
I want the girls to glow all the way up. I also want King to be able to live his life in a different way. Good Read!!🤗🤗🤗🤗

Great Read
With Pistol gone King was out for blood and while getting street justice for his cousin/brother the snakes in his crew got bold. Kennedy's best friend got the shock of her life but was given another chance to see another day but her keeping her distance was wrong all she had to do was communicate; now that baby sister of hers is just as her nasty snake of a mother said fast and hot trying to be grown, and with her getting her life together she just may have lost everything because of her sister. The cliffhanger had me gasping I didn't expect that.

Good Read
I liked this book but it was a bit everywhere. I understand where King coming from trying to look out for his deceased cousin's girl and baby but they done crossed some lines. Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. I knew if Leek was a snake then his best friend had to be a creepy crawler to. Khadijah just can't catch a break. I feel so bad for her. That cliffhanger thooooo.💗💗

Okay Kennedy can’t get a break between Kings, babymomma, her parents, Kings and Pistols relatives, and her best friend. I hope she gets her baby back safely because after losing Pistols she doesn’t need anymore heartbreak. I wish she would have started carrying a gun after her best friend let her use her. Her life is constantly in danger and people need to pay. I hope everyone get what’s going to them in the finale.

Poor Kennedy can't catch a break, she and her bestie deserve to be happy. Kings baby mama gets on my nerves. She's bitter. I hope kadijahs sister pulls through. I need Eric to get his behind whipped! All this drama, secrets, lies and snakes are a lot. But that cliffhanger really got me. I can't wait to see what happens next. Will this relationship last? Who will survive in the street war? Who will end up in prison or dead? I have so many questions.

Wow, this story has everything! My heart went out to Kennedy, she was able to finally have her son and what happens…he’s kidnapped from the hospital parking lot! Let me get to part three!

the trillest boss wifed the baddest chick book two kept the momentum going and easily held a 4/5 for me.
kennedy is really trying to survive at this point — mentally, emotionally, and physically. she keeps telling herself there’s beauty in the chaos, but baby… the chaos is CHAOSING. bodies piling up, rumors flying, and still trying to build something real with king? that’s a lot for one person to carry. even though king’s love feels genuine, i completely understood why kennedy started questioning if love alone is enough when everything around her keeps exploding.
let’s talk about the people around her though. kennedy and khadijah both need therapy after everything they’ve been through, because whew. and don’t even get me started on their moms — especially khadijah’s. absolutely cannot stand her. quanny is going through way more than she should at her age, all because her mama’s ego is bigger than the state of texas and she refuses to put her child first.
the streets are loud in this installment, and the consequences of king’s actions start hitting much closer to home. when that act of retaliation affected kennedy directly? yeah, that’s when things really shifted. it forces the question the whole book is built on: is loving a thug worth the cost?
and that cliffhanger?? nasty work. it did exactly what it was supposed to do, because i’m more than ready to jump into book three and see how all of this fallout plays out.

I still think it's scandalous that Kennedy and King took it there. Pistol ain't even been dead long and they have hopped in the bed together. I can understand why King family feels some type of way. I get why Khadijah was ducking and dodging Kennedy. Khadijah was scared for her life after witnessing what Gunna and King did to Leek and Gunna wanting to end her life. Kennedy didn't have a clue that Khadijah was ignoring her because of King but when she found out. She really didn't react like I thought she would. I was horrified at the fight that took place but I don't blame Khadijah for her actions. She was protecting her little sister. King was going after everybody that had something to do with Pistol death and he also found out the secrets Leek and Gunna was hiding. Gunna should've known his days were numbered. King seem to have more problems now. There's a few people lurking in the shadows waiting for an opportunity to get at him and I hope the way this ended has nothing to do with it. Kennedy and her son life is in danger.

This Was A Great Read...This Is Actually My Second Time Reading This. I Had To Re-Read It Since The Finale Just Came Out. It's Messed Up What Happened To Pistol But I Love King And Kennedy Together. In Any Other Circumstance King Would Have Never Crossed His Cousin Pistol But I Guess The Heart Wants What It Wants. Gutta Was A Snake & Got What He Deserved & So Did Leek. Hopefully Khadijah Will Find It In Her Heart To Forgive King. I Hope Quanny Will Be Alright & Kennedy Will Get Her Baby Back.
