Through the eyes of a child developing into manhood, the author set forth on the path that got him there. He relates stories seared into his memory while growing up in a large family. The narration of his personal stories is of the ordinary, intriguing, and endearing. Ingenuity and seeking knowledge tied the family together in pursuing their dreams. The parents were without any job or income for a decade, except for the meager income from the farm, in a poor country. Despite hard times, the education of their children was set to be the highest priority and the emphasis on education paid off. His journey continues with ventures in America.
