I wrote this review in my head after dipping in to just one page: not quite poetry, not quite wisdom. But then a dipped in another couple of pages. Felt I should probably just start at the beginning. Lost a tonne of ego about it and just really enjoyed it. A modern interpretation of Christianity (vs the bible?) for families, mothers.

This is quite an old book—I only have it because my Great-grandparents on one side gave it to my grandma on the other (so fun!)—but it is lovely, and it speaks to me. Pretty sure every single page of this book felt like ir was pulled from my own heart and soul. ❤️

I picked this up at a booksale in the fall. It's a fun little thing. While some of the prayers were a tad out of date some were as fresh as the day they were written.

What a sweet little find in a local thrift store! And I bought it about six months before I picked it up. Such a blessing for the start of 2016. Such tender dialogue with God from a humble and honest heart. I read through the prayers in one day, but I have no doubt I'll return to them again and again!

This little book of prayers helped me through some of the tough times all parents experience as their children grow up. I especially loved the reminders for simplicity, to slow down and participate fully in the moment. I was glad to run across this old friend as I catalogue my books.

Amazing book to read and oh so insightful. So happy I stumbled across it waiting for me on the shelf.
