I don't know what to write about this book. This boy's shenanigans made me so angry that I wanted to stop reading the book.
He tied the leash of his dog to a train, he drowned another person's dog in the river, he put his sister's baby in a canon to imitate a circus act, he shot a man while playing cowboys and indians, he blew off the house's fireplace to make room so that Santa Claus can fit and many more.
And his excuse was always that he didn't want to do it and he was very unlucky and it wasn't really his fault.
Do I want to read this book again? Absolutely not! Do I recommend it? I certainly wouldn't recommend it to kids, it might give them some bad ideas. As for older readers I don't know how could someone enjoy this book and not wish throughout in to teach this kid a lesson.
