Weer een boek van Robert Smythe Hichens, die best wat meer aandacht verdient.

There are no reviews currently on Goodreads for this novel. It's clearly been almost totally forgotten, and I can quite see why. it goes on, and on, and on, and then on a bit more. Not a single credible or memorable character in it. The plot is just not credible either. I don't suppose anybody will bother reading this review - well if you are, be warned.
