What can I say? Great teenage horror! For about half an hour, I started imagining things and got goosebumps (probably because I was reading at night alone inside a locked room).
Return of the Mummy
Gabe goes to visit his Uncle Ben and cousin Sari at the Pyramids of Egypt. They are at the end stage of one of Ben's excavations and are about to uncover a new tomb. Things unravel when the mummy starts to walk.
The way the little things like scary sounds, whiff of the wind, etc are written is perfect for the sandy desert. I enjoyed it immensely.
Phantom of the Auditorium
Zeke and Brooke are chosen to star in the school play titled The Phantom. While other kids are nervous hearing the story of the play's being cursed for seventy years, Zeke and Brooke are not.
So many false suspects in this book! It was a thrilling ride!
Yeah, well, one can never go wrong with a Goosebumps book, can they?
