Through their Project GRL initiative, they rescue women and children from human trafficking, provide safe places where they can receive an education and nutritious meals, and seek to let all girls everywhere know they are loved and valued by God.
In 2023, Joyce founded Hope Mountain Ranch, an 800-acre refuge in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Inspired by her own personal journey, Hope Mountain Ranch is a place where people can experience the transformative power of God and find hope and healing. It also serves as the hub for Joyce Meyer Ministries’ outreaches across the United States.
This book is simple but gives so much information about becoming aware of how we allow fear to control how we approach life. I am passing this book onto a wonderful sister friend who will learn as much as I have about " Doing it Afraid. "
This book is a depiction of the saying "little but mighty." It's a short book, but the message is huge in comparison. Feeling fear isn't a problem, but how you respond to it matters. Will you surrender to or conquer it?
Pretty good I must say. Its a tiny book so takes no time at all to read but I enjoyed its quick to the point ways. I enjoyed the stories to help prove her point and found her bottom line message "Do It Afraid" really helpful. The scriptures are always so nice to read and filled me with peace and happiness. And dont be fooled that you dont have a fear problem. We all are afraid of things, even if we wont admit it.
Mini book written by Joyce a while back but definitely good as a refresher and reminder that we should not be afraid to feel fear and pain. They are sure to come anyway. We need to push past those feelings to overcome the situation at hand.
I enjoyed reading this simple, practical and honest account of dealing with the subject of fear. For years I have have listened to people rant, roar, shout and yell about fear. This book is a welcome breath of fresh air and well worth having in your library to refer to
I think the book had a few good points and I liked the scriptures used. I just think this was so small and lots of repetition, this could have been a free article, instead of making it a book to buy.
Just do it!! if someone needs help jumpstarting your FAITH this is the book for them. Just do it!! DO it afraid, Do it scared, DO it if you dont want too, JUST DO IT!!!
This is one of my favorite books by her!!!! It may even be the one I've enjoyed the most. I love the testimonials, the sensible attitude towards fear, the acknowledgement that we as Christians actually can feel fear & deal with it instead of being condemned for it & pretending it isn't happening. I love the break down of the chapters and the range of topics covered. I love that she used scriptures in ways I hadn't thought of before and brought out great truths! God brought this book in my life and I'm so grateful!!
