راستش توقع داشتم سفرنامه هیجان انگیز تر و بهتری باشه، تجزئیات نداشت زیاد.در کل کتاب بدی نبود ولی دلم میخواست جزئیات بیشتری داشته باشه از فرهنگ هر شهر تهران بیشتر بگه، حتی از قحطی هم زیاد صحبت نشد کلا خیلی خلاصه بود کتاب.

تا یک سوم اول کتاب، هنوز به ایران نرسیده و وقتی هم که میرسه کمی طول میکشه تا از قحطی بگه و نگاهش صرفاً توصیفی و کمی هم احساساتی زده و اروپایی زده س؛ ولی خب کل کتاب یه سری یادداشت های نویسنده س که بسیار روان و شبیه یه جور رمان نوشته شده و راحت هم خوانده میشه.
بهترین کارکردش میتونه این باشه که یه جور نگاه درونی از مردم کوچه و خیابان و دشت و صحرای آن روزگار به خواننده بده؛ اینکه ایرانی ها چه حال و احوالی داشتن و چه می کردن و به چشم خارجی ها چطور می آمدن.
که خب هولناک قضیه اینجاست که انگار تغییر چندانی نکردیم از اون روزگاران تا به الان؛ انگار این ناخودآگاه جمعی یه جور فرهنگ ناخودآگاه و مشترک هم در ما خلق کرده که تا حد بسیار زیادی ثابت مونده.
چه میدونم.
