My hubby found this gem in a used bookstore right after we decided to sign up to coach our daughter's little league team this season. The author includes tons of wonderful coaching tips, drills, and the most important little league rules to be aware of, like the minimum mandatory play rule. My favorite part was his emphasis on keeping it fun so the kids want to keep playing year after year. My only complaint is that McIntosh continually talked solely about dad volunteers and boy players, excluding moms like me who also get involved and daughters like mine who also play little league. But besides that one little annoyance, this short 200-page book is worth its weight in gold for anyone interested in coaching little league.
