Australian Murders: 127 Killings that Shocked the Nation

Rate this book
This virtually is an encyclopedia of Australia's most infamous murders. Most of the featured murders were solved, but there are several that are still mysteries today. There are more than a century of murders. Gruesome, but fascinating. All immensely readable.

Loads of cases, but all of them are given cursory treatment and it's not particularly well-written. Some lines that I'm astonished made it past editors in 2004, including calling one murder victim 'a slut'.
