Man of Sorrows, by William Jackson, S.B.G., 4th edition, published by the author, Philadelphia, 1843. Old "Bought of Eliza Jackson, Dec. 10, 1844." The author was a Methodist preacher who became Baptist, then Universalist, then anti-Universalist. I am interested mainly in the Universalist part. So far the author seems to be a paranoid schizophrenic and there is heavy evidence of serious brain damage in childhood.
