This one is a book I feel really conflicted about. At first I really didn't like Farnworth's style despite having read plenty of books that she has ghostwritten before. However by halfway through the book this no longer seemed to matter to me. Perhaps it was just the first few chapters that were stilted.

Secondly the characters. I'm sorry but infidelity is a huge deal breaker for me; there is never an acceptable excuse and those who can't keep it in their pants shouldn't have a happy ending. There I said it!

However it's still an okay middle of the road read.

I was really looking forward to reading this after loving the books this author has ghostwritten, however I definitely wasn’t hanging onto every word as I have her other books. It felt like too much was going on to follow and it didn’t really ‘flow’ storyline wise as her other books have. A lot of the characters didn’t have a huge amount of depth and you didn’t get to know them throughout the story to be invested in what happens next. It left me unfulfilled. Hopefully her next book is more promising!

This book was a great read full of drama. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Interestingly enough, once I started this book I could not put it down. Even though Valentine did get on my nerves a little, well a lot, when it came to her hang up on Finn, I was still able to like her even when I felt like hitting her.

I believe this is Ms. Farnworth's debut novel. I am eagerly looking forward to getting my hands on her next book, A Funny Thing About Love. There were times when I laughed in this book, and times when I got slightly teary eyed. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I can't say wasn't excited to read an original novel by this writer, considering she's written most of Katie Price's "books". No mean feat. This is a delightful read. Raunchy in all the right places, relentlessly heterosexual and just right for the beach. Unfortunately, I read most of it on a bus.
