After the Locusts

Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year went by as the horror of addiction clung mercilessly to our sons. We had rescued and helped them, shamed and rejected them. We had prayed and sought counsel, argued and become numb. They entered treatment centers and recovery programs but nothing made any difference.
